Peplum tops, dresses and skirts are one of the most feminine pieces out there. I have about only two peplum tops in my wardrobe and that’s it. They are a statement piece by themselves and when I wear them I feel super girly. Being a statement piece, there are certain things we all have to take into consideration before we buy one. Below I leave you some tips and style inspiration so you can rock the peplum style!
· NEVER leave the store without trying it. They may look similar to the one you already have, but as we all know looks can be deceiving. Make sure they are the perfect fit for your body.
· Not all peplum designs will have the same fit. In an hourglass type body it may add where you don’t need it. If you have a larger chest with this type of top you can achieve a balance in proportions. On a pear shape body this type of top will help camouflage your lower body. My advice for the latter is to use a simple top.
· If the fit is too tight, go for a bigger size.
· Go for tops that the peplums top line begins a few inches below your waist and the lower line hits around your hips or below.
· Thin belts rather than over-sized ones will look better.

Los péplum tops, vestidos y faldas son unas de las piezas mas femeninas que hay. Yo tengo aproximadamente dos en este estilo. Son una pieza bien memorable y al usarlos me siento bien girly. Por ser tan memorables y como destacan fácilmente hay ciertas cosas que debemos tomar en consideración cuando compramos uno. Abajo les dejo unos tips y style inspirations para que se vean excelentes al usarlos!
· NUNCA se vayan del almacén sin probárselos. Puede que sean parecidos a uno que ya tienes, pero como sabemos las apariencias engañan. Asegúrense que le entallan perfectamente a sus cuerpos.
· No todos los diseños de este top tienen el mismo entalle. Para un cuerpo estilo ‘botella de coca cola’ puede que el top añada en áreas que no lo necesitan. Si son de busto grande los péplum los ayudará a conseguir un balance en las proporciones. En un cuerpo en forma de pera este top los ayudará a esconder ciertas áreas. Si tienes este tipo de cuerpo usa un top mas sencillo.
· Si te queda muy apretado, elige uno mas grande.
· Al escoger tu top elige uno en el que la línea superior del péplum comience unos centímetros debajo de tu cintura y la línea inferior quedé en las caderas o un poco abajo.
· Correas delgadas se verán mucho mejor que las anchas.
