To Buy or not to Buy from Shein.com

Hello guys!

I have made two purchases in Shein.com. The first one was only two pieces and the second one about 4. Their pieces have an uncanny resemblance to those sold by Zara, Storets and other retailers. I have had good experiences in both of my purchases and I believe it is due to the following:

• Always look at the materials. I try to only purchase pieces that are made of 100% cotton or have cotton in the mix. This way I’m sure they will look like higher quality pieces.

• Look at the model details. I use this as reference to know what size to order. Their sizing might be sometimes off so it’s important to have something as reference and what better example than the model that is wearing the piece that you want to buy.

Read the reviews. Almost all of their pieces have reviews so I see what other people have commented as well as the pictures they leave. Sometimes they put pictures of themselves wearing it, which gives you a better idea of how it fits.

Now lets talk about the pros and cons:

Some of the pros of this retailer is that they provide a lot of incentives. They have something call the “SheIn Points”. For every dollar you receive 1 point, which translate in one cent for future purchases. They also give you points for leaving your comments and for posting your picture wearing the piece.

On the negative I have to say the shipping takes a while. It can be from one week if you are lucky to a month. On the other hand the sizing can be a bit deceptive. That is why I do as previously mentioned to make sure I get the correct size.
