I love DIY but sometimes don’t have the patience to do them. Most of the time I rather buy the item or forget about it. Jeans with pearls have been a big trend for most of this year. I looked for a style that I liked but couldn’t find anything that I really loved. I had an idea in mind of what I wanted which reduced my options big time, so the best solution was to do it myself. They are easy to do but you will need time and patience. You can revamp a pair of jeans in your closet, go to Goodwill, an affordable store (I went to Saks Panama) or a thrift store to get your desire jeans style. Besides the jeans you will also need:
– Beads (fake pearls)
– Thread
– Needle
– Scissors
– Pencil or Pen
Steps:
- Start by laying down your jeans and draw a dot where you want the beads to go.
- Put them on to make sure you like how it looks before beginning to sew.
- Once you are ready begin sewing. Do this from the inside out so all the threads will be hidden. Pass the thread through the bead at least three times to ensure they are secure.
- When you are done with one of the legs put it on to make sure you like the results. If you do, repeat the above on the other leg.
This might take so time, but I’m sure you will love to have something created by yourself without spending too much money!

Me encanta hacer manualidades, pero a veces no tengo la paciencia para ellas. Muchas veces terminó comprando el artículo o decido olvidarlo. Los jeans con perlas han marcado tendencia la mayor parte de este año. Busqué un estilo que me gustara pero no pude encontrar nada que adorara. Tenía una idea en mente de lo que quería, lo que redujo mis opciones, así que la mejor solución fue hacerlo yo misma. Son fáciles de hacer pero necesitarás tiempo y paciencia. Puedes elegir darle una nueva vida a un par de jeans de tu closet, ir a una tienda con productos económicos (fui a Saks Panamá) o un almacén de segunda mano para obtener un estilo de jeans que de verdad te guste. Además de los jeans también necesitarás:
– Cuentas (perlas falsas)
– Hilo
– Aguja
– Tijeras
– Lápiz o pluma
Pasos:
- Estira tus jeans en una mesa y dibuja un punto donde quieras que vayan las cuentas.
- Pruébatelos para asegurarte de que te gusta cómo se ve antes de comenzar a coser.
- Una vez esté listo, comienza a coser. Haz esto de adentro para afuera para que todos los hilos queden ocultos. Pasa el hilo a través de la perla al menos tres veces para asegurarse de que estén seguros.
- Cuando hayas terminado con una de las piernas, ponte el jeans para asegurarte de que te gustan los resultados. Si sí, repite lo anterior en la otra pierna.
Esto puede tomar su tiempo, ¡pero estoy segura de que te encantará tener algo creado por ti mismo sin gastar mucho dinero!

Gracias! Capaz y vimos los mismos. Lo que hago es ponerlos de adentro hacia fuera y los meto en una de las bolsitas de lavadora. Ciclo delicado!
