When it comes to denim we have seen it all. Bedazzled, lace, pearls and more. Now I found an option that I feel is bolder than the others: two-tone jeans. You probably remember this one from my Fashion Nova video. I have to admit, it was one of those purchases I didn’t think through and for a moment regretted. It was really hard to find a way to combine it that didn’t involve a casual outfit. In my search for the perfect way to combine these jeans and falling in love with my purchase, I learned 3 things:
A white shirt doesn’t work.
It seemed like the obvious option but boy was I wrong! It made the jeans look flat and cheap. I believe it was because the jeans already had white tones on one side. The solution was going for a bold color. It could be a black top as I did here or a red, yellow or green one. A color that will stand out will be a better option.
This style is not for those who don’t want to stand out.
Even though nothing is shining, the color block definitely will catch everyone eye. It is a great option to give the basic blue jean a rest.
Your shoe choice will also be important.
In my opinion, a delicate heel will work better than a chunky heel or platforms. This type of jeans will already be the center of attention, so even though wearing color will be great, a thicker heel could be too much.

Cuando se trata de jeans, creo que lo hemos visto todo. Piedritas, encaje, perlas y más. Ahora encontré una opción que considero más audaz que las demás: jeans de dos tonos. Probablemente recuerdes este de mi video sobre Fashion Nova. Tengo que admitir que fue una de esas compras que no pensé y por un momento lamenté. Fue realmente difícil encontrar una manera de combinarlo que no involucrara opciones casuales. En mi búsqueda de la manera perfecta de combinar estos jeans y enamorarme de mi compra, aprendí 3 cosas:
Una camisa blanca no funciona.
Parecía la opción obvia, ¡pero estaba equivocada! Hizo que los jeans se vieran simples y baratos. Creo que fue porque estos jeans ya tenían tonos blancos en un lado. La solución sería escoger un color fuerte. Puede ser un top negro como lo hice aquí o rojo, amarillo o verde. Un color que sobresalga será la mejor opción.
Este estilo no es para aquellos que no quieren llamar la atención.
A pesar de que no tiene brillo, la combinación de colores tan obvia sin duda alguna llamará la atención de todos. Es una gran opción para darle un descanso al básico blue jean.
Su elección de calzado también será importante.
En mi opinión, un tacón delicado funcionará mejor que un tacón grueso o plataformas. Aunque este tipo de jeans será el centro de atención, se puede usar color siempre y cuando el tacón sea delgado.

Si, me parece que es difícil de llevar. Te confieso que si tengo que “try too hard” para hacer que la pieza funcione, lo pienso dos veces. Si me tengo que esforzar para que se vea bien, se va. La ropa está para servirme a mí y no yo a ella.
En este caso intentaría llevarlo con una pieza que tenga el mismo tono de el hilo (costura) creo que es naranja quemado o bronce. Puede ser interesante.
Si, el error fue comprar impulsivamente pero por lo menos saque buenas opciones futuras. Probaré con tu idea!
