Hello guys!
One thing I want to do more this year is to explore. Besides traveling abroad, I also want to get to see more places in Panama. At the end of last year, I had the pleasure of going to the Balu Beach Club. Here is all that you need to know about this place!
Where it is?
Balu Beach Club is located in Isla Víveros, one of the 200 islands of the Pearl Islands. It is around 30 miles away from the Pacific coast of Panama in the Gulf of Panama. They have some of the best beaches that you will find near Panama City!
How to get there?
If you are staying in the city, I recommend taking the ferry in Amador. That is what we did and it was such a smooth experience. We took the ferry from Sea Las Perlas Fast Ferry and in a little less than 3 hours we were there. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. I have to say it was a very enjoyable ride! They leave at 7:00 a.m. from Amador and pick you up at around 3:30 p.m. from the island.
What can you do?
Once we arrived, we were greeted with coconut drinks, which was the perfect refreshment that morning. After having a quick breakfast, it was time to start enjoying Balu. They have an amazing pool in which you can play games or just lounge. You can also find a Jacuzzi where you can take a rest and hide from the sun. My favorite area was on the beach! It had crystal blue waters that had the perfect temperature and were calm. We stayed in there until the ferry came back to pick us up.
And the food?
You know this point is EXTREMELY important for me. The breakfast was really good. We had some delicious tequeños that I still remember. For lunch, they have a menu with a wide variety of choices. I order fish and patacones, which were good, but the “picada mixta” that two of my friends’ order was amazing! I extremely recommend it! Lastly, the bar also offers a wide range of drinks. The house drink we tried was good.
I would definitely go back to Balu Beach Club, the only difference is that I would spend the night instead of going just for the day. This place deserves more than one night, to fully take advantage of its benefits!

Una cosa que quiero hacer más este año es explorar. Además de viajar al extranjero, también quiero conocer más lugares en Panamá. A fines del año pasado, tuve el placer de ir al Balu Beach Club. ¡Aquí está todo lo que necesitas saber sobre este lugar!
¿Donde es?
Balu Beach Club está ubicado en Isla Víveros, una de las 200 islas de las Islas de las Perlas. Está a unos 48 kilómetros de la costa del Pacífico de Panamá en el Golfo de Panamá. ¡Tienen algunas de las mejores playas que encontrarás cerca de la ciudad de Panamá!
¿Cómo llegar allá?
Si te hospedas en la ciudad, te recomiendo tomar el ferry en Amador. Eso es lo que hicimos y fue muy sencillo. Tomamos el ferry de Sea Las Perlas Fast Ferry y en poco menos de 3 horas estuvimos allí. Nos sentamos afuera y disfrutamos del hermoso clima. Tengo que decir que fue un viaje muy agradable. Salen a las 7:00 a.m. de Amador y te recogen alrededor de las 3:30 p.m. de la isla
¿Qué puedes hacer?
Una vez llegamos, nos recibieron con una deliciosa agua de coco, que fue el refrigerio perfecto esa mañana. Después de tomar un desayuno rápido, era hora de comenzar a disfrutar de Balu. Tienen una piscina increíble en la que puedes jugar o simplemente relajarte. También puede encontrar un jacuzzi donde puedes descansar y esconderte del sol. ¡Mi área favorita estaba en la playa! Tenía aguas cristalinas que tenían la temperatura perfecta y estaban en calma. Nos quedamos allí hasta que el ferry regresó a recogernos.
¿Y la comida?
Sabes que este punto es EXTREMADAMENTE importante para mí. El desayuno estuvo muy bueno. Comimos unos deliciosos tequeños que aún recuerdo. Para el almuerzo, tienen un menú con una amplia variedad de opciones. Pedí pescado y patacones, que estaban bien, pero la picada mixta que ordenaron dos de mis amigas estaba increíble. ¡La recomiendo muchísimo! Por último, el bar también ofrece una amplia gama de bebidas. La bebida de la casa que probamos estaba muy buena.
Definitivamente regresaría al Balu Beach Club, la única diferencia es que pasaría la noche en lugar de ir solo por el día. ¡Este lugar merece más de una noche, para aprovechar al máximo todos sus beneficios!

Jajaja aún recuerdo cuando el ferry apareció de la nada! La pasamos tan bien que nos olvidamos del tiempo
Este viaje sin duda que estuvo fantástico por lo que puedo ver en las fotos. Me encantaría ir es mi tipo de playa tranquila y relajante.

Si! La comida estaba deliciosa. Yo tampoco soy mucho de playa, pero cuando el mar esta como estaba en Balu, no me puedo resistir.
