¡Hola chicos!
Desde que era pequeña, mi madre me enseñó la importancia de mantener mi cabello saludable y verme bien cada vez que salía. Recuerdo que todos los sábados iba a la peluquería, me lavaba el cabello, me ponían los rollos y entraba en la secadora durante casi una hora. Detestaba esos viajes. No fueron para nada divertidos. Ahora, los valoro ya que me enseñaron la importancia de cuidar mi cabello. Ya no voy a la peluquería todos los fines de semana. Estoy tratando de ahorrar dinero, así que hace unos años comencé a aprender cómo hacer los procedimientos básicos en casa. Hacerme la queratina (en el salón) cada seis meses hace que sea más fácil de manejar, pero esto ha significado que necesito productos que harán que estos procedimientos duren más.
¿En qué me fijo cuando busco productos para el cabello?
• Sin sulfatos
Aunque el sulfato ayuda a eliminar la suciedad del cabello y el cuero cabelludo, puede dejarlo seco y débil, despojándolo de sus aceites naturales después de cada lavada. Las personas que se han sometido a procedimientos químicos como yo (tengo relajante y queratina) se benefician de los champús sin sulfato ya que no eliminarán del cabello los procedimientos realizados anteriormente. Además, las personas con cabello rizado y cabello seco se benefician de ellos.
• Productos hidratantes
Mi cabello puede secarse de vez en cuando y el sudor del ejercicio puede dejarlo incluso más seco. Cada vez que busco un nuevo producto, es clave que pueda ayudarme a mantener mi cabello hidratado.
Hace muchos años, cuando descubrí los productos Hask, estas fueron las dos razones principales que me hicieron querer comprarlos. Ahora tuve el place de recibir su línea de Monoi Coconut Oil (aceite de coco monoi) y me ha encantado. Desde el primer uso, mi cabello quedó suave, hidratado y con mucho movimiento. Me quedó como si hubiese ido al salón de belleza.
Esta línea está libre de sulfatos, parabenos, gluten, alcohol y más. El hecho de que no contenga estos tres ingredientes es excelente, ya que pueden secar el cabello, causar irritación del cuero cabelludo y más. Tiene aceite monoi, aceite de coco y una mezcla de gardenias tahitianas, que pueden ayudar a hidratar y fortalecer el cabello.
Mis consejos de uso:
HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Shampoo (Champú nutritivo):
Aplica una cantidad generosa sobre el cabello mojado. Con las yemas de los dedos, no con las uñas, masajea el cuero cabelludo y el cabello. Haz este paso dos o tres veces.
HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Conditioner (Acondicionador Nutritivo):
Aplica una buena cantidad en el cabello, desde las puntas hasta la mitad del cabello. Masajea y ponte una gorra por unos minutos. Después, masajear nuevamente y enjuagar.
HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Shine Oil (Aceite Capilar Abrillantador y Nutritivo):
Después de secar el cabello, aplica una pequeña cantidad en las manos. Colocar primero en las puntas y luego en el resto del cabello evitando las raíces.
Mientras escribo este post, he usado este champú varias veces y he estado muy satisfecha con los resultados después de cada uso. ¡Estoy feliz de que ya se pueda obtener esta marca en Panamá! Tienen un producto que satisface las diferentes necesidades de cada tipo de cabello a un precio asequible. ¡Probaré algunas de sus otras líneas en el futuro!

Since I was small, my mom taught me the importance of keeping my hair healthy and looking good every time I went out. I remember every Saturday going to the hair salon, getting my hair washed, rollers put on and going into the hair-drying machine for almost an hour. I dreaded those trips. They were not fun at all. Now, I value them since they taught me the importance of taking care of my hair. I no longer go to the hair salon every weekend. I’m trying to save money, so a few years ago I began to learn how to do the basic procedures at home. Having the keratin done every six months (at the salon) make it easier to manage, but this has meant I need products that will make these procedures last longer.
What do I look for when buying hair products?
• Sulfate-free
Even though sulfate helps remove dirt from your hair and scalp, it can leave your hair dry and weak, stripping it of its natural oils after every use. People who have had chemical procedures done as me (I have relaxer and keratin) benefit from sulfate-free shampoos since they won’t strip your hair from previously done procedures. Also, people with kinky hair, curls, and dry hair benefit from them.
•Moisturizing products
My hair can get dry from time to time and the sweat from working out can leave it even dryer. Every time I go for a new product it is key it can help me keep my hair moisturized.
Many years ago, when I discovered Hask products, these were the two main reasons that made me want to get them. Now I’ve been trying their line of Monoi Coconut Oil and I am hooked. Since the first used, my hair was left soft, moisturize and with a lot of movement. It gave me that salon finish at home.
This line is free of sulfates, parabens, gluten, drying alcohol and more. The fact that it doesn’t contain these three ingredients is amazing since they can dry your hair, cause scalp irritation and more. It does have monoi oil, coconut oil and a blend of Tahitian gardenias, which can help to hydrate and strengthen your hair.
My tips for use:
HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Shampoo:
Apply a generous amount on your wet hair. With your fingertips, not your nails, massage your scalp and hair. Do this step two or three times.
HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Conditioner:
Apply a good amount on your hair, from your ends through mid-length. Massage and put a cap on for a few minutes. After, massage and rinse.
HASK Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Shine Oil:
After drying your hair, apply a small amount on your hands. Apply first on your ends and then go through the rest of your hair avoiding the roots.
As I write this review, I have used this shampoo several times and I have been pleased with the results after each use. I’m excited that you can already get this brand in Panama! They have a product that caters to different hair needs for an affordable price. I will be trying some of their other lines in the future!
