These last few weeks have made me realized more than ever how important is to support local brands. Having one of my own, I know any type of help anyone can provide is huge. Today I’m beginning a new series where I showcase different types of businesses that you can find in Panama that I have tried or been to. On this occasion, you will learn about two jewelry brands, owned by women from which I have made purchases a few times. Let’s begin!
PIAZ
I learned about PIAZ a year ago and got the first set of earrings for my birthday. This brand is run by two sisters who have done an amazing job making it grow. Every piece is handmade in their Panamanian workshop. One of the main things that set them apart from other brands is their personalized service. Whether you want your piece made in gold, silver, or gold bath; whether you want it engraved or not, they will do it for you. If you are obsessed with ear piercings as I am, you will find a great variety on their web page. I got my first set of earrings for my birthday last year and then got two more for two new piercings I wanted to get (that btw, getting gold earrings for my new piercings was the best decision!). They listen to their customers and give them what they want. In their social networks, they give thorough explanations about each of their pieces.

Lina Echeverry
Lina Echeverry is a Colombian brand that you can also find in Panama. It was founded in 2003 and in 2010 expanded to Panama. A family brand as well, it is characterized by having dainty as well as show-stopping pieces that appeal to the Latin American women. Their pieces are handmade in Colombia. Lina Echeverry women are romantic and likes to stand out. Their original shapes are the main characteristic of all their necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and headpieces. The inspiration behind every collection comes from a wide variety of sources, such as the elements and nature. From Trascendenzzia to Geometría Organika. This makes each one of their collections unique. Lina Echeverry pieces have the power to transform any of your outfits. Love using them to accessorize basic pieces and give them that wow factor.
These are some of my favorite jewelry brands that I have found in Panama. I have yet to discover more, but these are the ones that I’m constantly looking for inspiration, gifts, and new pieces.

Estas últimas semanas me han hecho darme cuenta más que nunca de lo importante que es apoyar a las marcas locales. Al tener yo la mía, sé que cualquier tipo de ayuda que alguien pueda brindar es enorme. Hoy comienzo una nueva serie en la que muestro diferentes tipos de negocios que puedes encontrar en Panamá, de los cuales he adquirido sus servicios o a los que he ido. En esta ocasión, conocerás dos marcas de joyas, lideradas por mujeres y de las cuales he realizado varias compras. ¡Vamos a empezar!
PIAZ
Escuche sobre PIAZ hace un año y obtuve el primer juego de aretes para mi cumpleaños. Esta marca está dirigida por dos hermanas que han hecho un trabajo increíble para hacerla crecer. Cada pieza está hecha a mano en su taller. Una de las principales cosas que las distingue de otras marcas es su servicio personalizado. Ya sea que desees que tu pieza esté hecha en baño de oro, plata u oro; lo quieras grabado o no, ellas lo harán por ti. Si estás obsesionado con las perforaciones en las orejas como yo, encontrarás una gran variedad en su página web. Obtuve mi primer juego de aretes para mi cumpleaños el año pasado y luego obtuve dos más para dos nuevos piercings que quería hacerme (¡por cierto, utilizar aretes de oro para eso fue la mejor decisión!). Escuchan a sus clientes y les dan lo que quieren. En sus redes sociales, dan explicaciones detalladas sobre cada una de sus piezas.

Lina Echeverry es una marca colombiana que también tiene oficinas en Panamá. Fue fundada en 2003 y en el 2010 llega a Panamá. También es una marca familiar, se caracteriza por tener piezas delicadas y llamativas que atraen a las mujeres latinoamericanas. Sus piezas son hechas a mano en Colombia. Las mujeres de Lina Echeverry son románticas y les gusta sobresalir. Sus formas originales son la característica principal de todos sus collares, pulseras, aretes y tocados. La inspiración detrás de cada colección proviene de una amplia variedad de fuentes, como lo son los elementos y la naturaleza. De Trascendenzzia a Geometría Organika. Esto hace que cada una de sus colecciones sea única. Las piezas de Lina Echeverry tienen el poder de transformar cualquiera de tus atuendos. Me encanta usarlas para darle un giro a piezas básicas y darles ese toque de impacto.
Estas son dos de mis marcas de joyas favoritas que puedes encontrar en Panamá. Todavía tengo que descubrir más, pero estos son las que constantemente busco para inspiración, regalos y nuevas piezas.

Qué piezas mas hermosas, me encantan las argollas grandes con la media luna en rojo.
Ciertamente estos días hay que comprar local, al menos 2 veces por semana compro algo por IG a una tienda local, hay que apoyar.
